would a closed loop work down on the bottom of the tank. BB tank of course! would the pvc be a problem under water????

I don't see why it would be a problem. PVC is safe for use in water just make sure to rinse it off and adhere to the drying time if you glue anything.

I'm thinking hard on this one. I have a extra iwaki pump and thinking on running it on the back and sides. do you think reducing it too 1/2 inch pipe and drilling holes every inch would push out all the water that the iwaki 30 would push, I could go 3/4 cause of the mold around the bottom of the tank
