I went to see the manufacturer's website and I'm suspecting that the difference between the 700H and the 700HW is just the wires... W(Wired)
Yes.
The pin ones generally require a circuit board

Wired is just easier to use for many.

Bery good. So i will buy in aliexpress that have LDD H(only) without W and will be tô circuit here
Wait to buy anything.
I was looking at the power supply and driver you choose and the data sheet shows the design using 8 drivers would push the unit out of the " recommended performance range".
At 56v the max current recommended to be less than 4500mA.
It may be wise to not try the 7-8 drivers and 56 volts.
It would be better to split it into 2 groups (14 or 16 drivers). 2 pucks each.
Sadly we would need to start the parts hunt over.

Give me some time to think about this

I've only bought that power supply and two RX30 pucks so far. I haven't bought the LDDs yet. another thing... I see a lot in previous comments, people using a PCA9685 card, what is it used for?

Just a board to increase the number of PWM outputs.
Would go to the white wires on the LDD's
Not needed unless you use an Aduino or like to control the drivers.

at the end of this project i wanted to install something to control the intensity of the lights throughout the day.... a ramp for dawn and dusk. and if possible through an app like the TC421, I believe that the bluefish also does it, but I see that these devices have around 5 channels.

StormX or the full Bluefish are the 2 choices.

$95.43US
  • 16-channel 12-bit PWM (0-5V)
  • 4096 Dimming Levels

Bluefish has 6..$200US and believe you need to pay extra for the "cloud"

Some circuit boards have pull down resistors. They will keep the ldd's OFF until you attach a controller.
These boards you need to solder the ldd's in
Note the spot for a 10K resistor.. Do not put one there. Do not jumper it either.

XLG-240-H
This power supply?

I got some confirmation that it is suitable.
If you are deriving the lower voltages in elements 5 - 8 with decent efficiency buck converters you need to assume 10-15% conversion loss. In which case your load is:

4 × 36.4 + ( 12.32 + 17.92 + 6.16 + 18.48 ) ÷ 0.85 = 210.2W

= 56v @ 3.8A

The XLG-240-H is perfectly suitable.
This would have been my next choice, though a bit expensive..

Oh I forgot to mention that you can run more than 1 LDD off one dimming channel.
To get to 5 is a compromise though.
Best suggestion would be to wire

1) Yellow, white, and red to one channel
2) UV, Violet
3) Royal (deep) Blue
4) Blue
5) Green

Or
1) Green, Yellow, Red
2) UV, Violet
3) Royal blue
4)Blue
5) White

None are ideal but doable.

Other problem... storm no have app and i think problem shipping

Bluefish no manufatureiro... not stock in website

See any fórum arduin with app control
Easiest thing is to go with the 5 channels and use a TC-421 with the wire modification as I showed you earlier.
There have probably been dozens of Aduino/Pi/esp32 controllers built.
Though successful none are really "plug and play" and few have an app.

I have a "guy" in Spain that built me some 5 channel driver/controller boards.
driverboardsm.jpg

Uses a phone app and AP or Wifi
They are customizable as to mA output.
Boards above are set at 700mA 5 channels each.
60V maximum
I've used 2 over my 40b for over a year now.
I have not tested them at 56V though.

They sell just the driver on Tindie.

Glad someone makes a board like this, its a pretty solid idea.

Very good. Tell me more about this board

I tell with your friend of Tindie, but tell thar only one unit is more expensive. Too did see that board with 12 channel have more funcion that with 5 channel
