Does anyone know what these white things on my zoa are?

These are white protrusions sticking out of my zoa colony. They look like sand-colored sticks. Does anyone know what these are?

They're annoying to corals but beneficial overal to your tank. If you see your zoas closed a lot due to them you can just take them off with your hand.

Those are not spaghetti worms, those are some sort of growth(sponge maybe). Not harmful, pick them off and they wont come back.

Spaghetti worms are not benign, they annoy zoas/palys and can become a real pita.

When I look at the picture, I see tentacles on one of them. That would mean it is a worm.

Those are not spaghetti worms, those are some sort of growth(sponge maybe). Not harmful, pick them off and they wont come back.
