Does anyone know what this is in the picture below? It’s not cyano algae. I had cyano before and it does not glow in blue light the way this stuff does. Maybe a sponge of some type? I don’t know. Hoping someone with some experience can help me out here. Thank you guys and merry Xmas!
P.s. I had this stuff for a while now. Tank is about to be a year old in March.

I have this red algae organism in a few places and it looks a bit like coralline, but it's not. If you touch it it should feel a bit slimy.

Not a worry in most cases as coral overgrow it, typically.

In your tank Does it glow red or pink under a blue light?

Dull deep maroon red. From what I've seen reported, there are a number of similar looking dark red/maroon colored organisms which have slight differences. Trying to figure out exactly which species one has is a bit of a challenge.
