Sps dominant eh?!! Was it 75% or 100% that you're running your lights at. For how long again? Sorry I keep asking. I'm at 50% right now and bumping up 5% each week. Corals are looking good.

Completely bleached coral 3 weeks ago.
Online vendor suggested to toss it out but I decided to bring it back to life.

not sure i can use the term 'SPS dominant' anymore.... only thing that is not SPS are a few BTA i keep.... SPS only would be more appropriate

for lightining, each system is different, i currently run at 75% with wide lense, nutrient wise i'm on ULN side... need to feed corals frequently to keep up with their needs. i did not modify the SPS AB+ schedule, the only thing i did is add some blue in the morning and evening to see coral longer, but realy low intensity. i can post my schedule once at home. At 75% i get 350 PAR in the top section and 150 PAR on sand, i can grow SPS pretty much everywhere in the tank.

with regular lense, i never went above 45%.

i've used radion g3pro for 3-4yrs... loved it.. you can search on my posts-- all my sps growth/coloration are great.
I've used different lightings before ranging from compact pc lighting, MH,to AI Vega blue (the best lighting IMO is MH) ..
...
just sold my g3pro though... :) getting the gen4pros

it's been good so far... IMO, i got the same results as with the g3pro... i like the g4 more b/c it is brighter and the colors spread much evenly.
Good to know. I'm about to make that decision, times two. I'm definitely going to need a scotch after that order.

How high do you all mount the Radion? I've seen anywhere from 8" to 24". Trying to find the optimal height for 24" deep tank.

I believe that has to do with the spread you like to achieve, but interesting to know.
And what would be the PAR loss @ 18" depth between a fixture at 10" and 20" above the waterlevel.
... not asking for much... ;)

I have that setting and running all g3 pros. I’m moving to heavy sps and am augmenting it now with t5’s. The growth without t5’s wasn’t too bad.

Do you guys run it as AB+ color as 100% blueish channels and 24% for others? Coming from Kessil, that looks a bit too blue to me. I used to Kessil on 60% color. The AB+ color looks closer to Kessil at 30% color. I tried to bring other channels up to 40% and it looks a bit closer to what I used to. Does it affect coral growth and coloration? Should I stick to the AB+ color and just convince my eyes to get used to it?

I know this is an older thread but I was hoping that someone could give me some guidance. I’m new to corals and just added a couple montis (a sunset and a purple haze) as well as a green birds nest. They are all near the top of the tank. The corals were just added two weeks ago. I also bought two radion xr15 g4. They are currently on the radiant setting at 45%. I have a 72 gallon bowfront 48 in across and 24 deep. The lights are 12 in above the water. Any idea what percent I should end up with to get the best growth? Are two 15s enough or do I need three? Any info would be appreciated.
