Crazy story thet came across the AP wire at my local newspaper:

Huge Berlin aquarium bursts, releases flood of fish

The 82-foot-tall AquaDom was described as the biggest cylindrical tank in the world and held more than a thousand tropical fish before the incident.

Read it could of been from freezing temperatures, but that would mean it was likly cracked somewhere already. Sad, 1,400 fish lost. They had just modernized it in 2020.

I've never had that happen with a Red Sea or a Fluval but my guess may not be far off with Hagen Industries based on location.

Yeah , you are lucky .. I stay far away from fluval .. even with their newer tech. I think I suffer from ptsd from dealing w/ their canisters all those years doing service
