@bif24701 Sorry for your losses. What was the copper level when the fish died? Also, has the ammonia alert badge stayed yellow the entire time?
.5ppm Seachem Copper test
No ammonia alert nor ammonia in my API ammonia tests. They both died a few days after a water change that went well and everything seemed fine. Do you think I should drop the copper levels?
If the remaining fish are all eating, acting and breathing normally, then i would stay the course.
They all seem fine. Only a few more days to go.... really saddened by losing more fish though.
Ok just noticed something!!! What is this?
could be/probably is Lymph. It's common in butterflies especially when treating them for a disease. Just keep an eye on it for the time being and be sure no redness develops on him.
Ok good, didn't see anything on the ones that died. The Blue and Naso tangs and clown also look ok.
Good deal. just keep an eye on them and let us know if they change besides getting a bit bigger. Lymph will get bigger and look ugly for a bit.
Will do! Thank you so much for the quick and thorough replies.
Might just be Lympho but also look here: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2440449
Oh gosh! I forgot about that one!! Great catch Humble... they do look very similar.
The "mystery disease" always shows up on the body only, never on the fins like Lympho.
I personally think it's "reaction to copper" related.
