Thank you Paul.
I have piggy backed your lighting schedule. The only change I have made is to the white channel. I max it out at 35% as I have found it washes out the blue channels and is a little harsh on some zoo's and LPS.
( I have two Photon 32's over a 150 gallon mixed reef tank. 72"L x 18" W x 30"T.)

It looks great. What mount did you use to hang these?

I used the aquatic life rails. I got them from MD a while ago. But 80/20 would be the cheaper route. But they come with hanging mounts and rails. I just like mine higher.

Is anyone on this thread running their Photon V2's above 65 % ? If so what has been your results.
I have two of the Photon V2's over a 150 gallon tank that measures 72"L X 30"T X 18"D. The lights are approx. 10 inches above the water level. I'm still having trouble dialing in the right intensity for my mixed reef tank.
Currently I'm running my lights with just the white and blue channels. Channel #3 (Royal Blues) 45%. Channel #4 (White) 40%. Channel #5 (Cool Blue) 45% and Channel #6 (Violets) 40%.
This gives my tank more of a 14k look. I will gradually increase the intensity to 65% as my sps growth has been very slow.

65% is intense especially on those 2 channels. Some of my LPS didn't do well above 45%. SPS didn't mind though. I would raise the intensity slowly.

Thanks Paul, I will just keep the light intensity right where its at.
Just keep an eye on corals. Colors/growth/polyp extension. I'm still fine tuning mine. It just takes so long to notice improvement or not after an adjustment. I prefer to go a little at a time with any LED, especially the 5w Crees in these v2's.

How far do the Photon 32 v2 legs extend? Would it fit on a 48" tank?

I had a V1 photon 32 on a 48" tank briefly. The legs extended far enough but the legs weren't tall enough to get adequate coverage with that fixture IMO.

The legs have since been updated and are taller and can be adjusted to sit lower, from 8" to 4" off of the water.

Interested in picking up one of your fixtures. My current tank is 36x20. I plan on upgrading to a 40x24. Would a photon 32 be sufficient coverage for the new tank foot print?

Yes, the 32 -V2 would be great on both sizes for a mixed reef or sps dominant tank.

Can anybody post full tank shots of the light over their tank? I am thinking about getting the 48" but videos of these fixtures are hard to find besides 915Mang's.

I have had my light for a couple of months now. I absolutely love it and so do the corals!
