Dang! You'd be set for a shoot out. I just have my over and under 20 gauge from when I was younger and would go bird shooting.
I've been thinking about getting a pistol. What would you recommend? Nothing crazy expensive (college student here) but good beginnerish gun :)

As you can see I'm partial to 1911's and Springfield XDm's. For a beginner I'd suggest the Springfield XDm in 9mm or 45 acp. Great shooting guns and very natural feel when aiming. Try and find someone local that will take you shooting.
