I know what you mean about tank sitters!! Only other club members really know the work needed to do and how hard it is to get where you are at! Very exciting thread! Post pics when you can!

Hey how about some pictures??? Updates? I just started my first Seahorse tank. =D I have not decided if I am going to try a female/male pair. I tried very briefly to raise clowns and lost them. It was really sad. Seahorses seem to be easier then clowns. If you can feed BBS right away, it seems to be much easier! With the clowns you need to start a phyto culture, then you buy rotifers, feed the phyto to the rots. You have to keep quite a few buckets going of the rots and a lot of the time the cultures end up crashing. If I could do BBS like you right away, I think I could do it! I commend you on your hard work. Now....how about some pictures???

Wooh!

This is a tad old, eh?

I ended up selling the babies (I believe 17 remained) and shutting down for a long time. I recently started another tank, though there are no Seahorses this time :(

Upload a picture (to this thread if you'd like) and I can ID it for you.

Oh, I'm not exactly sure. Did you buy it from a LFS?

It looks small enough to be a dwarf, but is it really that small in person?

Also, what is it eating? Could be a Reidi as well.

Yeah I got it from a LFs it's about 1.5"-2" and is eating frozen mysis. I've looked at others but don't have an idea. It is pretty small though.

Might be a small juvenile Reidi if it is eating frozen mysis. You typically don't hear of Dwarves eating frozen foods.

No, :( Too much work for me, and not enough time! Though, it is very rewarding. However, I find growing out my coral just as fun (not really, but kind of...)!
