I have been dosing vibrant to my tank for 2 months now and has caused algae to get worse. It also smells really bad like its dead. Is this supposed to happen? I am going to order some more and see if another bottle works.

The bacteria should be dormant, only activated once they hit your tank. Any chance that tank water has gotten inside? All it takes is a little food source to spark them.

Mabey does this cause it to be not effective and do I have to get more
I’ve had great success with vibrant. But it seems to be hit and miss from what I’ve read here. There’s a dedicated thread to it here.

I would contact them first, before ordering. They may replace it for for you? Before I started it for my Bubble Algae issue. I had a few questions they respond quickly.
