Need help to ID this frag. Maybe a Goniopora?

The polyps on mine look as small as this. This is a pic of encrusting monti. I remember him saying it was a type of monti when he gave it to me but I couldn't quite remember. The polyps on the alveopora are still too long to be what I have.

That looks like a bleached Sunset Monti

That makes sense since yours has the nubs/branches in your pic with the retracted polyps.
Cool deal! Do you have any experience with this type of coral? I'm new to SW. It seems like it's growing steadily but not sure how hardy these are or if there is any special care tips.. I've got sps lps and softies in my tank right now.

They usually are a pretty easy SPS to care for. Moderate-high lighting and medium to high flow. You may want to give it plenty of room to grow. Once it takes off it'll take up a lot of real estate. Also your calcium consumption will increase as with any large Monti since they're pretty fast growers.
