Now i am waiting on my stand guy I have to go sit down and design one. I can normally build anything but this will take a seasoned designer/welder. And not to mention a VERY heavy tank will be sitting on it.
the mock up of the new tank was an eye opener! WOW i am soo excited. when i get home i will try to take drywall down and start the layout of electrical.
disappointing day yeatruday, i wanted to work on the build but instead delt with drama crap. good thing i have my 500 system to calm me down. Going today to meet with stand guy. by sunday drywall down and electrical started and hopefully done. keep your fingers crossed.
I Got a chance to go to glass cages Monday to pick up my one of the two coral grow tanks, and check on the progress of the big tank. The coral grow tank is i think 4x3x10 high. cant wait till Monday!
WHoot!
I went out last week to the factory, to see updates. The first tank they started was cracked. So they have started a new one, the stand is almost done. Onc ethe stand gets here I can finish framing the room. The tank is 10 ft long. Work has been so busy I haven't done much, my ecotech order should be here soon ill post some pics of that
SMall snag. The glass company cracked the tank, in setting it up for shipment, but got to stay possitive. I guess it could be worse, i could have done it and have to pay for it.
SO this weekend i am wiring and getting the room ready for wire and boxes. I set up another rock tank for future, and picked out my 125g water storage tank. I am going to set up the DI tanks under the stand of the DT. to save room and use the storage that big stand will give me.
I have learned my lesson with building a system fast. I have written down a list of things I wanted to do right, when I was to build this. Even with my current system that's around 500, I made small mistakes. But all those ideas are going into this one.
Well ill have a 125 gallon heated saltwater tank. 2 switches one is for draining water, other is for putting back in. No more buckets and hoses, lol.the back of the tank that's in he fish room, will have a mark of exactly when to shut off
