Right so I’ve gone for the the kessil 360we x3 Tuna blue and a nyos quantum skimmer, with regards to sumps what do people go with nowadays? As I’ve said I live in Cornwall so it’s perfect for NSW and have read a lot of good things but how does this effect the maturation process when using fully cured rock mixed with life rock? Think I’m going to go down the route of maxspect gyre 230 x2. Tank gets delivered next sat so a lot to get ready

Go big! Get as large a sump as you can fit in the cabinet. I've had very good results with Eshopps sumps. Or you could get a short height tank like a 40 breeder and divide it up as your specific needs demand.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
