I removed the eggcrate from my frag tank because it was pretty much infested with Bryopsis. I pulled a lot of it off and mopped it down with Peroxide. When it is dry I plan to sweep it with a broom to get as much of the dead pieces off as I can. Is there anything else I can treat it with before putting it back that will hinder a regrowth?

You cannot prevent growth of something 'for sure' - because - it may be that you add something else that has it. I would try to avoid conditions that favor the growth - rather than trying to kill everything off. You could use fluconazole - however - I'm personally opposed to this.
