Finally got a radiant wrasse from my LFS.
Set up a 10-gallon with a heater, sand, and filter.
temp 78 salinity is about 1.024.

DAY1
Looks healthy swimming around.
Fed some frozen food and he had a bite.

Going to treat him with coppersafe around DAY 3 if he keeps up with this healthiness.

Any extra advice?

I recommend prazi treatments after you get her through copper. She looks good, best of luck!

Monitor your ammonia and as said, follow up with 2x prazi treatment at the end.

Add some structures/hiding spots... it is very open and may make the fish more uncomfortable/stressed.

I have two of these and they are very hardy once established IMO, just ship poorly.

Still haven't seen the wrasse yet? They usually won't die under the sand, but it can happen. Did you check around the tank in case it jumped out?

I'm quarantining 2 at the moment,
I always use smaller sand boxes in the QT so I can see them at one edge of the box. try to resist the temptation to poke them out. most of the time they will come out after few days. makes sense to check where they shipped from and when as fish might still be on a different time zone. I light acclimate in that case.

I haven't seen the wrasse yet. I have a secure lid so I should be fine. I'll dig him up to make sure he's not dead.

believe its not recommended to startle them by looking for them in the sand.
The ones I got were in LFS for couple weeks before I got them so believe both were already acclimated to our timezone. both have been out every day since day one and it's almost 10 days now. I will finish the copper treatment and will run couple prazi rounds before they go to the Display tank.

I was going to suggest more structures to make it feel comfortable out of the sand. You did that. With more options of hiding and hunting now outside the sand, it should come out more.
Keep feeding it well.
Pretty wrasse!

DAY4

Did a 40% water change with my DT water.
Added another 5ml of copper safe.
Notice the wrasse was scratching his sides with the sand so some kind of external parasite is possible.

Some of what I saw was the wrasse trying to swim into the glass reflection at the bottom. If it is indeed flashing, then flukes would be suspect and praziquantel would be called for.
What about modifying the day/night cycle to be closer to east Africa? Then it may be out more so you could feed it.

Emergency

Woke up in the middle of the night to check on the wrasse. Of course, he's in the sand. However, I noticed my heater was weird. something is growing on it and Idk what it is. it's only growing on top of the heater and the heater is brand new. ( the video has pink light in the background bc of refugium ) ( picture is without the refugium light on) 20221019_042135.jpg
