I know the tech specs and size differences, but is there an added benefit/difference to having the 300 over the 250? I could probably get both, the 250 would not "stick out" as much - but I can get away with the extra width... Just wondered if someone had a great tip/reason for getting the 300 or the 250 - or is it always get the largest you can afford??

The 300 is a way better dimension for aquascaping room and coral growth. It’s hard to aquascape and maintain a narrow tank. The same reason I went with a 425 over a 350.

Iv the 300XL and it looks and feels so much larger than other 3ft tanks. the extra 2-3 inches of depth and height are great!

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
