Has anyone had luck with these test kits. I have the foundation test kit and want to see what others that have used it thought.
Is it accurate. Before this kit I was using API test and still use some. I use the syringe from the redsea to put 5mls in one of the API viles and it went about half a inch past the white line. then I test my ph and it was way off. So what is up with that.

I'm now using the Mag, Nitrate and Ammonia test kits from them and they appear to be quite accurate. I wouldn't touch the old ones with a 10' pole.

I've used them, the Reef Pro and Color kits.

Very easy to use and accurate, compared to a few other brands.
Salifert, API, previous Red Sea Kits, ELO's. Some of them are just a bit pricey.

DITTO! I've used the new ones for mag, calcium, & nitrate and they seem to be right in line with my salifert tests.

I use the ca, alk and mg tests.

The alk and ca results seem to be good.

I do get high mg results (high 1400's) with no supplementation.

There have been a few threads about high results on the mg tests.

I only use red sea when my wife is around...i can't tell the color change for the kh and calc kits without someone who can see colors...other than that they work fine though

Good, that is what I wanted to know. My mag read 1560 on this test and I haven't add mag other than through water changes.

Ive read it a couple of places, and we confirmed it thru the club(various kits) that the mag tests high. But everything else is accurate.
