I can finally add mine to the list!

This was a long time coming and took a ton of planning.

I tiled the floor (replacing carpet) I had the room plumbed for a sink and I had two GFCI outlets installed. I had to wait 2 months for the tanks and I built the stand that they're sitting on. The only change coming is that I'll be adding a hose inlet right before the pump so that it can be used to take water out of my tank on water changes as well.

I didn't plumb "emergency" drain lines to the the left and right of each tank because I can loosen that middle T to point down and drain if need be.

I do have a question for everyone that has one of these though... You aren't really supposed to keep old salt water around, so what do you do with the last 2.5gal of so that can't be pumped out of the bulkhead at the bottom of the SW mixing station?

Really nicely done...looks great. I personally wouldn't worry about the last little bit of saltwater. Just add new fresh water, mix your salt, and that last little bit simply gets diluted in the newly mixed water. That's my $.02 anyway.

Nice job! Where did you get those stands the water storage tanks are sitting on?

Btw this is how the two are plumbed together (with a T) which allows the left tank to be freshwater he right salt or both saltwater in a pinch

How is the DOS working out? What USB(?) did you end up using and over what distance? Why not mount the DOS closer to the tank and Apex unit and draw water from the water change station?

Here's mine

These setups are all fantastic!! I do have a question tho...i'm thinking of doing a setup like in this photo, with two 50 gallon containers for my 100 gallon total system and getting the Tunze ATO. Could I place the ATO pump inside the freshwater container if I did a setup like this?

Just ordered 2 50 gallon water containers from National Tank Outlet with the 3/4" outlet installed....https://www.ntotank.com/50gallon-norwesco-white-vertical-storage-tank-x4297366

What should I do to the tanks when they arrive?? How do I sterilize them for the tank water?

Thought I'd respond to a reefer in my original home town...lol. I simply washed them out with a little vinegar and water with a long handled, small scrub brush. Rinsed really well and let them dry out in the sun for a couple of days just as extra precaution. No issues whatsoever to report.
