Seahorse Tank Redo!!!

I am getting them from a LFS near me. I have also ordered them from SeahorseSource, Liveaquaria and saltwaterfish.com.

I check on some of those website but there out of stock in riedi seahorses only seahorsesource.com has some but there 99.00 plus shipping I want to get the Erectus seahorse but I think there going to be to big for my small tank I have a 12 g fluval edge

That's sound good but I think there to small well I decided yesterday and bought to Erectus from slatwaterfish the bad thing is I have a 12 gallon fluval edge do y'all think that be a problem?

I am now the proud owner of 3 more seahorses!! I drove 4 hours round trip to get them. These seahorses seem to be settling in very nicely!! I fed them about an hour after acclimating them to the tank and they all fought for the food right away. Now, my tank is super noisy with all the snicking going on. I love it!!

Looks good to me! Watch them with the cleaner shrimp. The shrimp may irritate the seahorses by trying to clean them.

Hey Krista, good luck with the seahorses, beautiful creatures! Im near Edison in central NJ, wondering where you went to get them. Ive had no luck with SHs from LFSs over the years, I stopped getting them local as they are mostly wild caught regardless of what they tell you.

Ever hear an adult tiger pistol shrimp snap its claw? Wow is it loud - would make me run to the tank to make sure he wasn't messing with my seahorses - always was nervous even though they are suppose to be okay together. After 3 years I caught him dragging one into his cave (that was alive a few minutes before) so he was given to my brother after that (he was over 3" which is suppose to be their max size).

I actually drive to Ultra Corals in Bartonsville, PA for them. Steve gets them from a local breeder. These are by far the healthiest seahorses I have found other than SeahorseSource.
