As @pelphrey noted, the Red Sea bulkheads would not be worth swapping out. Their proprietary fittings actually work really nice in my opinion and are a very small profile. Also as he noted, you can simply buy two more of the Red Sea barbed return fittings to convert all of the drains and return over to hard pipe... as you can see it's what I did on mine....

Amazing plumbing....Are you using Sch 40 colored pipes? Would it be possible to give a breakdown of the fittings used?

A 2-way plane ticket for Mr. Broadfield would be your best bet:D

Honestly though, it's hard to explain how to tell someone to clean up wires. You can take a look at mine to give you an idea... I'm using velcro cable ties to help bundle my cable runs.

I'll fly you over in my Gulfstream but wow....Legendary!

Thanks man... if you look through my entire build thread, you will see some examples of panel mounted gear, cable management etc. I will admit, my latest creation may be a little over the top lol.

The colored piping/fittings are called furniture grade PVC... comes in all of the colors of the rainbow. However, it only comes in pipe, T-fittings, various degrees of elbows and various 3-way, 4-way and 5-way. The grey fittings are schedule 80.

I can give you a breakdown of fittings... but are you wanting to duplicate my exact setup?

Tank finally showed up and I clearly see the fittings can't be hard Lined with bulkheads.

So I got a white stand and the inside was black so my OCD made me go buy a roll of white vinyl to wrap all the panels lol
Can see a small panel getting it's covering!

Figured since I'm in no hurry I would hide and tuck as much as I can before dropping the tank on!

Got the reactor plumbed in an area I didn't think it was even possible pretty happy it's all covered and how it came out!
This is the far right compartment!

The skimmer and Rock is well cured for two months awaiting the tank. Have to plumb in all the Sprcturapure top off and Auto water change before the tank goes on the stand!

Thanks if you could me a breakdown that would be great . I have a 425XL with a Vectra M1 . I think your manifold would probably fit but I would need to change to 3/4".

I personally would love the exact list as I'm going to "try" and replicate your exact build including the reactors. You know duplication is the best compliment! ;)

It's gonna look money with that sump in there! I probably would of been bothered by the inside being black on a white stand also. It's the one thing I use to hate about my black stand... the stock Red Sea sump and my grey piping just disappeared in there with the black background. I don't mind it now that I have a white sump and orange piping. Ironically I heard that Red Sea changed the white stand, to black insides, because the black wouldn't show as much grime, dust, dirt, salt creep, water splash etc. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! The black shows EVERYTHING LOL!!!

Ok, I'll work on a parts list once I get a break from Christmas activities. However, the parts list will vary depending on if you do colored fittings or schedule 40/80 fittings... because I can eliminate some adapters if you are doing standard 40 or 80. So I would need to know what your plans are for that.

Sure. Thanks. Can I use the schedule 40 coloured fittings from BRS. If so then you can eliminate some parts. I already have the Aquamaxx reactors .Only difference is I'm using M1 Vectra. Much appreciated !

You can use what ever you want, but if you are using colored fittings, then you will need some extra adapters. From what I have seen, all colored furniture grade PVC is the same... no matter where you get it from. I bought my pipe from BRS, some fittings from Aquarium Speciality(which is branded as BioTek) and other no name fittings from Amazon... they were all the exact same color, shape etc.
