Here is the cabinet that I built. The beam, doors and counter are made from reclaimed barn wood. Feel free to PM me with questions. Thanks for looking.

Here is a FTS Including the beam which came out of a 150 year old barn in Penn.

Another FTS

Before water went in - You can see how the counter turned out. The counters use to be barn floors, in the same barn the beam came from. I left the boards with heavy distressing.

Here is a close up of the doors. The doors were made from barn fencing that came from Kentucky. All 4 doors can be removed to make maintenance easier.

Here is a shot with the front doors removed. I used 2x8 headers across the top to avoid a center beam. Makes access to the sump very easy.

Here is a shot with all the doors removed and the trap door that conceals my cords
Beautiful! How did you make the doors removable? I want to do this for the stand I'm building right now.

Glb- the pic below is from the build process. You can see that I made a metal frame out of 3/4" angle iron, then there is a 1/2 sheet of ply inset in the frame, last the old barn wood was attached to the ply. I have 2 12" sections of the angle iron attached to the bottom of the cabinet for each door. The doors rest on that angle iron and then attach to the top via super magnets. The magnets are available at Home Depot. Feel free to send me a pm if you have other questions.

Thanks. My stand frame is already built with 2x4's. Could I use a router to make small indentations in the frame to hold the magnets? Then I could some sort of metal on the doors. Or vice versa. Would that work for a wood only frame?

Nice! Do you have something in the middle (like clips or a magnet) to keep the doors level when they're shut?

I skinned mine with hardwood flooring to match my basement. Will be trimming it in the spring.
