I have since found a smaller one of the same type in the same live rock can someone please identify it?
Difficult to tell. Can you post a pic in a plastic/glass container in white light?gorilla crab species have distinctive black claw tips that are not really seen on other aquarium crab species. The emerald crab, for example, is fully green including the claw tips

ok so deffinitely not an emerald crab
