I'm currently running a Waterbox PM25. I have a sock for the first filtration.

My question is, I'm seeing a lot of surface scum back flowing into the tank. I am running a 1.0 syncra silent return pump. The flow to me looks good. Is there anything I can do to clean this up? It's not oil but more like dust.

Thank You

Best options to me would be to either lower your water level or add something to your overflow grate to raise it up. That will create a stronger pull into the filtration chamber in the back of your tank.

No experience with it myself, but some folks have liked these: https://intankaquatics.com/intank-all-in-one-aquarium-surface-skimmer/
