One thing I have noticed is that those badges can be hard to read. Did you test the ammonia another way, or were you relying on the badge?

Red Sea was the primary test.

Another thing to look into is your water source. Are you making your own water? If so, does your source water have chloramines? With a QT tank young, I would be dosing prime every other day just to be safe. The ammo badges are hard to read.

Yes, making my own water using SpectraPure RO/DI. TDS is 0.

I used dr. Tims and at Day 5 my nitrates and nitrites were showing 0. I changed to stability and it took 16 days to see ammonia drop. Are you sure your tank was cycled? As per seachem stability will take about 1-2 months to fully cycle a tank.

I am not on day 22 I think and I still have hi nitrites.

Did you use an existing sponge or live rock to start the cycle?
