From what I understand...feel free to chime in with your experience

I've done alot of research before even thinking about vitamin C and almost every article says that it is a carbon source and that it will elevate the bacteria levels in the water then bacteria thrives off the nutrients in the system with also removes nitrate and phosphates threw the skimmer in the form of bacteria.
This is pretty much what I learned from allot of research and if I'm wrong then say so because I'm fairly new to the idea of carbon dosing

Add twice a day

Once before lights come on and again after lights out.

Be sure and take before pics of your corals so you can compare!

I was going to do after pics at 1 month of usage, but I decided to do them after one full bottle of usage...stay tuned!!

Start at 5ppm and go up only if you think you need to.

How much VC would I need to dose for a 180g mixed reef and where do you get it? I got a gold torch a couple of weeks ago and it was beautiful. Overnight one of the heads lost ALL of its flesh. The other two heads are still fine. I took a baster and sucked the goo off of it to try to keep it from spreading. It looked like brown jelly disease. So far it hasn't spread to anything else.

Ive been dosing 1.5 teaspoons for a 150gallon propagation system mainly of zoas.
Main problem im having is my two canister reactors with gfo and carbon totally clog within a week with this white fungus and is all slimy and keeps my reactors from working. What are you guys doing to alleviate this issue??
