What i just dont get, just the bristle worms in the plumbing alone can most likely out compete me in a food eating contest. I cant even imagine how old that tank is, and how much food went in it:p
I got my suspicions that this might've been only a fish tank with no coral. And might've been set up for quite some time which could explain how they got to that sort of a population? Either way, just goes to show you how nature prevails.

From one of our members...
Z06-Hec
So as I have posted a few times.. I have bristle worms out the wazoo... anyway they do amazing at cleanup, clean the sand daily, if anything is weak or dead they get rid of it the same day no trace of it unless a shell is left behind.
I saw the opportunity to catch a few tonight. Saw 1 piece of rock covered with them, put a glove on took the rock out and boom.... here you go.
