studied human disease, though in animals --> yet another reason I had no interest in staying in research. Made me sad to deal with even mice for research :(
I did necropsy/trimming for a larger CRO. Did some amazing research I'm not allowed to talk about for another three years (non-compete/IP agreement), but I HATED the job. I then moved on to genetics after that too! Good for you for finding something better.

I now kind of have work so may as well add along. The past few weeks I’ve been working with my dad doing some work in office buildings doing stuff like ripping up flooring and replacing it with new stuff, painting, etc. He makes me put most of it away for when I’m old enough for a car, but I am allowed to cash some of it every so often to go towards my tank.

Automation, my friend! I’ve got auto water change, auto too off, auto feeder! When I’m gone on trips, no worry my wife will forget to feed the fish!

I'm slowly making my way there. My old tank had zero automation, which kept my better half busy when I was away (she was starting to get a little tired of it).

My new tank is going more automated. As of now it has an ATO, which alone is a huge step up.

I bought a automatic feeder but I don't like it. It is the kind that you fill it up in the chamber and a little bit is fed at a time, which is adjusted by sliding a door. But I have noticed one time it may let through a couple flakes and next time it let's through wayyyyy too much.

I just bought my first controller, so I am hoping once I figure out how to use it, an automatic water change will be next project.
