My local reef hobby store sold me a wrasse under the title of clown wrasse telling me it would change how it looks by alot
I don’t think it is even a clown wrasse after doing more research but I can’t seem to find out what it is

Halichoeres garnoti juvenile without a doubt, these can become aggressive as they mature but as with everything you can get peaceful adults.

Thank you any idea why they would mistake that for a clown wrasse?
I’ve seen them go under that common name but I’m not too sure why - I know many Coris species go under clown wrasse, specifically;
Coris aygula
Coris gaimard
Coris formosa
