I have a 120 gallon non drilled fish tank (tank is 24x24x48).under the cabinet it's 22x22x46.

I'm looking to change from my current canister filters to a sump. What would be a good setup, keep in mind I'm a newbie.

I have read good things about lifereef overflows. I am not sure what sump or pump to get and why. Any help would be appreciated

Are you planning to drill out the tank? If so, I'd recommend this low profile overflow:

Even comes with the hole saw.

Synergy Shadow overflows are also a good choice and they make nice sumps also.

What features do you want in a sump?
Refugium space
Adjustable water height
Built-in ATO
Built-in tubing mounts
