SOoooooo, what I thought was a convict tang..is actually a Zebra tank/hybrid. Pics soon. Woke up to my tank this morning, and found my tang with markings on it's face.
It had the markings (not stripes) on its' sides before. But they sometimes disappear.

This morning, had markings on it's face and sides, I thought it was either sick or in a fight. But no bite marks, eats like a pig, and swims normally....wow..

Swims all over the place, huge appetite. Ate nori 30 mins before I got home, then ate what I fed the fish (LRs), then went to pick at rocks...so not sick and I don't think hurt.

That looks like a Convict Tang...hard to keep alive whenever I purchased them...
