The picture you original posted has way higher.

Which means it’s probably getting to much light

That second picture looks like skeleton is showing…and it looks like it has algae on the skeleton

Id put it back on the sand bed.

If your serious about wanting gonis I’d buy some managnese

Not sure the one you have will make it.
Thansk, Il'l look into getting a bottle soon. My lfs has some by Fauna Marin

2ml of Fauna Marin or Manga? Depends on the concentration of the bottle
2ml of straight manganese

Fauna Marin makes a manganese supplement

It’s all the same concentration. I was dosing 5 ml before I added my gonis. It never showed up on an ICP test. I now dose 9ml

I've just used ATI Essentials Pro, with excellent results.

Besides the basics (alk- dosed daily, magnesium- dosed kinda weekly, calcium- dosed kinda weekly) I only dose manganese (definitely daily).

It has lots of benefits for all LPS and corals in general. Several scientific articles that I’ve read show that it helps reduces damage caused by stress factors. (Also read it’s good for us! ) I went down a pretty deep rabbit hole when I researched the stuff.

Plenty of people have success without it….plenty with it. People have brought back almost dead gonis by dosing it.
