Hasnt grown at all since last month. Considering a move but my usual strategy is to leave something in place far too long. Laziness always wins for me with my current schedule.

I’m not really sure I’ll get a par measurement and let you know. It’s also directly under a 6 bulb t5 fixture I guess it likes that spectrum

Maybe mine need to move, im getting about 500 par for 4 hours a day on mine and its not happy. 350-400 rest of the day maybe I should move it down. Yours looks great!

I take the theory that if you're bumping one growth attribute up (e.g., lighting/PAR), you need to bump up the other attributes accordingly (e.g., nutrition, flow). Otherwise, growth is always constrained by the lowest common denominator across the attributes.

That's why I've got high nutrients and looking to bump up the PAR, I think my PAR is what may be limiting growth on these pieces. I guess we'll see how that theory works out in the coming months!

Im getting growth, but slow growth and the polyps are never out. I have as of yesterday. ALK 9.8 CAL 420 and my nitrates were at 10 I think the other day cant remember. Most everything else in my tank has nice polyp ext just this guy doesn't seem happy.
I sent my first water test off the other day so we will see if I have anything else going on in my tank. Some corals are just more sensitive than others.

I am currently tearing my reef apart pulling and dipping my 3 dozen acro colonies because I found aefw in the tank. I must have missed some eggs on a frag I got and it slowly turned into a big issue. I dip with Bayer everything that comes in, so I know it had to be eggs. I've lost a couple colonies, and have fragged down to make dipping easier, most of my other.

I was finally starting to see noticeable growth on the blue ghost, totally encrusted and starting to go vertical. I hope this doesn't set it back to far.
