Might be it for me.. seem to be having some troubles after losing a frag of scop.. might have over corrected some things.. alk was 7.8, phos was .36 at time of pics. Did a large WC and started up some gfo(I started with the amount I last used which I know was wrong) and it threw things way out of whack.. phos dropped under.1 in less than 12h and alk is steadily rising.. consumption plummeted so trying to steer things in a somewhat gentle manner..

It will be fine! Here was my tank last week after a huge kalk over dose! My alk dropped from 9 to 4 lol… zero casualties and my hodini looks better than ever haha!

Wow.. how the heck did your alk drop??? Mines steady right now with no dosing which is somewhat concerning for a decently stocked tank. Phos is back up to .15. 2 casualties from what I can tell but the scop was new and can be finicky.. hopefully by tomorrow everything settles out.

Im still absolutely amazed by that. Ive kept my tank pretty steady and the random finger of death is back after being gone for couple months. SO frustrating, just zapped a blue light teni and a anacropora.

My top off dumped 20 gallons of fully saturated kalk into my tank when my skimmer overflowed and it all precipitated out! Hence the white tank lol.

And mine hasn't grown at all. Also hasn't died, so there's that...
Ken Jeong Yes GIF by Crazy Rich Asians

No growth beats out no death every time! Mine hasn't grown allot but it looks great color wise. I think this is going to be a awesome looking coral. Looking back at fall contest 7-8 months is when I started getting some good growth on my frags, except of course for the blue ghost that dude is picky :) Ive got a Matt V pacific wave that Adam put in a battle box in May of 2023 and now its finally starting to grow. I tell you if wishful thinking made things grow it would be the size of my house LOL . Even as a little fellow its got some cool colors on it. Its weird how some of these guys take off and others just sit. Not sure if its there location in the tank or the coral itself. Ive got a few others that are just in a holding pattern also. Colored nicely but just chilling.

I'll take alive any day. I may be out in the next month though if the soft job offer I got hardens and I move across the country.

Unless I find another solution that isn't break down the tank and start over...

6 hours of flying two hours of driving ? Do you do this as a once a week commute or something? you cant be doing that every day?
Washington's nice, Youll have all the great scenery and fishing I have, without 9 months of winter :)
Lateral in title with potentially more growth opportunities. And much closer to family (in laws though), 2.5 hour drive vs 6 hours of flying plus 2 hours of driving.

In Bellingham, WA
EDIT: AHHH I think i got it,,its 6 hours and 2 hours to visit the relos ??

40 minutes drive is the current commute. 20 or 30 is potential future.

Nah, just 6 months of rain. It will be odd to casually see bald eagles and whales though. This Wyoming boy isn't used to that.

That's the one.
