My corals are soft but doing really well and I run my lights at 68% blue max and 12% white max.
I have 2 over a 24 inch cube.
I have the ReefLED50’s and I am so confused.
I only get to control the blue and white but I don’t use near all the power.
I need to meet someone who has this fancier stuff so I can understand the actual difference.
Can anyone explain why there is so much back and forth on the lights.
Also anyone have experience with RedSea’s LEDs and explain the difference between the fancier higher end stuff and my little bitty candlelight’s?
I am genuinely curious about what I may be missing out on.
For reference I run 2 LED50’s 8 inches off the water and they are 6 inches from center.
Would other lights be better, like these Hydras?
Also I don’t plan on SPS, just don’t get excited over them and that might change but for now I am pretty dead set on none.
Posted my L light schedule. Right is the same about 5 mins behind so I can create my own sunrise (the app does it but I have them backwards and I was not moving them again).
Sorry if I am hijacking the thread, just curious.
