Get a tank with a bottom euro brace. This is a proStar. It’s rimless at the top but has the bottom eurobrace where it actually matters.

Tank is only two years old? What model is it?
Red Sea Reefer 250. Its not even 2 years old, purchased Feb 2023. Based on what I've read elsewhere all they are going to offer is a discount on a new tank which is a bummer.

Just bought a 40gal rubbermaid, will drain the tank ASAP. Given it will probably take at minimum a week to get a new tank how long do you think my livestock/corals could survive in this rubbermaid?

My tank is less than 2 years old. Picked it up brand new from a LFS. The other day I noticed some sand getting in the seam of the front panel. If I touch this area of the glass a little more sand falls down into it.

What do you guys think? Anyone have any luck with Red Seas customer service? Do you think the LFS would help?

This is a picture called " Just a matter of time". When sand has entered, the ability to seal has become quite diminished inviting failure

I kept my all my fish and live rock in two separate 20 gallon rubbermaids, for several days. One powerhead and a heater in each. They should be fine for 1 week, not sure about anything longer than that.

They will last as long as they last....keep eye on ammon....heater and water movement. For the corals, they will eventually need light...doesnt really matter color.....cheap 6500K bulb will work.....for livestock....no light needed...just heater. Water changes and you can keep as long as you want....keep on on the cycle..

You can wrap a ratchet strap around it for support while you figure how how to house your animals but I would get it done quick. See if your LFS can house your fish temporarily. Your corals and rocks can be ok in a brute for some days improvising with your current components.
