Yes and interestingly am having the same issue with Ca and Mg. Am currently not dosing any of either and numbers are still higher than I would like. Will have ICP results probably by the end of the week so those results should be interesting.

So just for clarification, since you started the FM Balling Light method you have not added any Ca? Calcium part has Trace 1 and 2 so it is interesting that the tank is happy.
I can't decide if this is funny or really sad. It's upsetting how much corporations are controlling the conversation of the hobby. The guerilla marketing of many so-called educational podcasts and social media spreading questionable ideas. How fast people are to defend salesman that are vying for their dollar. Instead of looking towards people with extensive education and/or experience on the topic, and nothing to gain. I see this misinformation first hand when I am hired to fix aquariums and people relay to me the ideas and techniques that made it through to them. Brand financed information is most often what makes it through. And if a technique works and hobbyists don't understand why, then it becomes almost superstition and old wives tales spreading around the hobby. I believe I read somewhere in their literature that Mg dosing may no be necessary but not sure. I used two different test kits with the same result. ICP should be interesting
