I error on the side of caution on these situations. The is really a question for the manufacturer. If this was one of our tanks, we would replace it. I cant sleep at night if I share go for it and set it up in your living room and really have no idea what the outcome will be. with that said, I wouldnt use it and contact the manufacturer.
