Ghostly Foxface

I don’t think there is anything wrong with him so please don’t read into the post too much… but does anyone else’s foxface turn very pale during sunset time? I run metal halides supplemented with blue and actinic T5’s. As soon as the halides go off and he is only in the blue light of the T5s, he turns very pale. Does it every night since I got him several months ago. Camouflage maybe?

Yes completely normal. They actually sleep in what I call “camo mode”. Which is a white and brown pattern. Here’s mine at night

That and bluer light isn't going to make yellow look more vibrant...
