Hello!
I am new to the hobby. My favorite coral of all in my 180 Gal reef is a Goniopora that has been in the tank for 7 months.... The coral is thriving but is now (I think) being threatened by a Green Star Polyp that is growing very fast and inclusting into the rock were the Goni is.... I dont know what is going to happen when the GPS reaches the Goni... will it kill or suffocate it? I know i can break the rock and separate them but I dont want to risk moving the Goni as I could affect the light or flow and stress it.... Any advice or PREDICTIONS? Please see pictures... GSP is getting close...
