I understand cultured clams and I understand wild collected (or so I thought). But I don't understand the following statement @PacificEastAquaculture uses in the description :thinking-face: "This beautiful Ultra Maxima Cultured Clam is wild collected and is Wysiwyg"

EDIT. PEA description below

My interpretation is it was wild collected and they are using the term “cultured” to mean “cared for” at their faculty until it’s deemed healthy and ready for sale

Not how I take it when I heard Dr Mack mentioned cultured vs wild collected in his videos. I think conditioned would be a better term for what you describe.

All of the cultured clams on the site were labeled the same way. A bad cut and paste job! They have been corrected. Thanks again for calling out the error.

Will be posting more clams in a day or two!
