I don't understand "This beautiful Ultra Maxima Cultured Clam is wild collected and is Wysiwyg"

I understand cultured clams and I understand wild collected (or so I thought). But I don't understand the following statement @PacificEastAquaculture uses in the description "This beautiful Ultra Maxima Cultured Clam is wild collected and is Wysiwyg"

Not how I take it when I heard Dr Mack mentioned cultured vs wild collected in his videos. I think conditioned would be a better term for what you describe.

I agree with both posts above. I am stating I feel they are misusing the term cultured as if it means conditioned.

It is a misprint and has been corrected. Thanks for the heads up. Cultured are cultured and wild-collected are wild-collected, the terminology was an error in typing on our part.

All of the cultured clams on the site were labeled the same way. A bad cut and paste job! They have been corrected. Thanks again for calling out the error.
