Ich or velvet?

I got this purple tang about 8 days ago. It had some bulling in the first couple days but has since stopped. On day 3 it began deloping spots and has had this for about 5 days. Still very happy, eating very aggressively, occasionally rubs on rocks but not often.

But if it’s persisting for days then it’s likely not velvet, which can kill fish quickly. The above tag calls in some of R2R’s most knowledgeable members on fish diseases, I’m sure someone will be by soon to offer a diagnosis and help.

That’s skin mucus from being bullied and probable ich. Velvet would cause rapid breathing, no spots and not eating.
The big issue is that all of the fish have been exposed, so you’ll probably need to treat them all.
I looked at the video again, the tang aggression is still going on…..
