Was going to wait until I got home for initial pictures but too eager and bored at work right now lol.
And so it finally begins. I bought this tank almost 6 months and have not been able to set it up since moving and other things like wanting full automation. But with that sweet christmas bonus finally hitting the bank. It was time.
The following is being used for the tank:
Stand: Aqueon 24x24 (I know its cheap but I trust these enough since I've used them for a while.)
Lid: kraken reef
Light: Kessil 360xe
Return pump: Mightyjet mini 266gph (should meet the 10x turn over for me)
Nozzles: Spinstream however I may swap them out for RCA's
Heater: IM helios 100 watt (may add the second one if it struggles but I keep the house around 69-70F)
Wavemaker- Jecod DMP-20 (should be more than enough but will get a second one if needed)
InTank floss holders for overflow
Aquashield 9W UV desktop
Media: Marine bio balls from an already established tank, with 5lbs of ocean live rock from Marcos. I do want it all to be live rock. But the aquascape I'm going for can't happen if I do. The rest is purple caribsea rock. Using marcos dry powder/glue for fixture.
Sandbed is about 1.5in.
Automation:
Hydros Launch, PH, salinity, temp probes.
2 dosing pumps.
Hydros ATO kit
I plan to command strip velcro it all for simplicity sakes. If it doesn't work I'll grab a plywood board and make some cuts.
