Is this a white sponge growing on the flesh of my Trachyphyllia?

Hello everyone, i noticed this stuff growing on the flesh of my Trachyphyllia. Is this a sponge? Because if you zoom in, it kinda looks stringy, like a ball of nematodes or something. Thank you all in advance

Those are the coral's mesenterial filaments - typically a sign of bad health/stress.

Thank you. I thought of mesenterial filaments too but i was under the assumption that they only come out of the "front" of the coral. Always learning something new
