You can easily raise the water level FYI. Just get longer pieces of pvc for the secondary and emergency drains. I raised mine to be right in the center of the innovative marine logo.

I ordered a piece of pipe to do exactly that. I think/hope it was schedule 80 1”

The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air Carlton Dance GIF by Max

Wish I still have the Jackson tenuis, that thing was difficult to keep happy. Tank is looking good. I was leaning towards the IM 112ext but after seeing your tank, I'm gonna reconsider my plans.

I don’t have it anymore. I plan on getting a piece soon. Looking at it again would certainly bring me back. This is a nice size tank, if you have the room I would go for it

Thank you gentlemen .

Tank and sump came delivered perfectly. Everything packed well. It’s going to drive me crazy not to have this tank in the basement so I can begin setting it up .
I’ll update once we get wet.

Nice Setup I'm trying to work on getting something similar. I love the choice in dog I have 2 reds 1 who's 10 Tomorrow and a puppy.

Thanks! I really am impressed in the value from IM. This is really nice quality stuff for half the price that was looking at for custom builds.
This is my first cattle dog. They told me the breed was high energy, that was an understatement . He’s one heck of a frisbee dog! Good family dog.

Just to keep the thread updated, here is it today. Added 150 trochus snails and 10 emeralds for now. I’ll add some more variety in time. The contents of the 25g nano is in here and seems to be doing fine. Alk steady at 8dkh. Nutrients low as expected so I’m feeding fish often.

Happy Holidays to everyone!

So stoked for you brother, it's going to really floor people to learn that the "Jackson Rainbow Tenuis " is your baby, and that it's a holy grail tenni...

Perry! Hope all is well. Thanks bud. I appreciate it. Good to be back. That tenuis was my baby back then. It was a $20 blue tenuis frag from a local reefer. Rainbow tenuis types weren’t mainstream back then so it was exciting to see it morph into something special. Can’t wait to get a piece back in here growing. Big thanks to ReefBum for keeping it going all of these years.

Here’s an old video in the younger stage of that tenuis starting to morph.

First week with corals went great. The sps seem to be responding very well to the new environment. I’m seeing some growth and improved polyp extension already. Up to 30ml esv 2 part daily at the moment. This should climb quite a bit as the coraline starts to grow. No uglies to speak about at the moment. The snails and tangs are doing a heck of a job keeping the rocks clean. Nitrates currently 5ppm and po4 ranges from .04-.09 depending on feeding times.

I’m not in my dream house yet but the deal was insane. I wonder if they will have the deal in future again.

Sale ends tomorrow on the IM website. Curious to see if it goes back to full price. I think they will discount again. There's always some kind of deal to be had.

Yea I’ve been watching it. I wouldn’t even be able to get it in my current house lol. I have the 100 ext. looking great though I’ll have to go the gyre route like you I think for that tank. I don’t see mp40s or 60s giving wide enough flow. Enjoy the new tank :)

First month in the books. Can’t complain. Things have been going smoothly. I lost one shortcake frag that wasn’t happy to begin with, and had to move a Goni to my nano (didn’t like flow).
I’m seeing quite a bite of growth already. One some pieces it’s visible daily. Some of my stunted stuff is started to put out tips. Polyp extension has been increasing a lot.
I’m doing my best to keep nutrients from getting low. It’s amazing how much feeding a BB system like this can process. I’ve been feeding a few grams of frozen mix daily, some flake, and some live blackworms. The fish are getting thick!
I finally added some reefbrites so I will be able to take orange gel glow pics to keep up with the new guys . Halides were changed to radium’s. Was having a problem with my ballasts firing them. It ended up being that the adapter cord that I used was too long. I cut it from 12’ down to 1’ then the bulbs fired up with no problem. I have enough bulbs to last me many years .

I’ll be stocking a lot over the next month the sit back and watch it grow. I’ll update on month 2.
