The cord on the motor is 7'. And the cord on the driver is 6".

Nice. The connectors are standard Jebao ones so easy to add an extension cable. Seems 7 foot is standard from the controller to the pump. Be nice if they extended them to 10 feet but hey we cant have everything we want haha.

Hydros website shows they are compatible but not sure if there is advantages

That's not what our HYDROS WaveEngine Compatibility Chart says...

We clearly state via the chart that Jaebo/Jaecod pumps are compatible with 0-10v Communication...THIS IS NOT POWERED. As well, we state it is only for certain models that allow 0-10v Control.

The pumps in question ARE NOT compatible with HYDROS WaveEngine Direct Pump Ports.

With that said, you can still control BINARY power to these pumps. Simply plug them into a XP8 AC Outlet, or the LAUNCH AC Outlet. Yes, main flow control will be their app, separate from HYDROS. But we can still control power via HYDROS. When we enter WaterChange Mode, cut power to this pump, this pump, this skimmer, etc. We can control ANYTHING through BINARY power.

Ok I didn’t know they exact functionality of it, I have two launch boxes in the mail for both of my tanks so I can learn more :)

I really wanna try these wavemakers out! right now I am running 2 SOW-4's on my SR80 which def isn't enough of flow and I may upgrade to DMP-40's or perhaps DMP-30's. It's great to see someone come out with wavemakers rivaling the MP's since those always seemed super over priced.

Being running my 2 DMP10 for about 1 months now. One of them developed a strange sound on the dry side only occasionally. The other one is still virtually silent. Think I might try to replace that noisy one with AliExpress.

I run them with random flow mode at 50 and 30 settings.

One small disappointment is the dry side suction cups (and magnets i guess?) are not strong enough, so there's always a small gap at the top between the dry side and the glass. Hasn't affected anything yet but just annoying to see that gap

I thought that this pump could work on 3/4-inch glass, so I got a DMP-40 to try it out. Unfortunately, the glass seems too thick, as the blades don’t even start moving. I might be doing something wrong since it appears to work for others.

I can hear the motor running, but it seems the glass thickness is preventing proper operation. I previously tested it on another tank, and it worked quite well.

Another issue is that without the suction cups, the magnets aren’t strong enough to hold the pump on 3/4-inch glass.

That said, it’s a nice pump overall.

I use mine on 3/4 with no issue. I have even used it on 1 inch. Maybe yours is defective? Make sure it's aligned properly.

same no issues on glass that is 3/4". I've played with it all the way up to 100% power and still no issues with it staying in place
