I use the Apex cor 15 on mine.

Where you running it at max speed? and what water volume you had?

I have a Cor 20 on my Lifereef and run it at 60%. I am not sure if you have the skimmer gate valve adjusted yet or not but what you can do because the Cor is easy to adjust the speed is set it to say 30% then let it run for a day or two. Check to see how high it is in the body of the skimmer vs foam and go from there. You may find it will take a couple of days to find what works the best for your setup.

In short - set the skimmer and pump to get the water level that Jeff recommends you start with. After that you can adjust the pump speed to get the skimmate consistency you want.

I have bought the skimmer from Jeff about 8 years ago but I lost my race with time thinking I might get the tank up and running before the birth of my youngest angel so priorities changed and I left everything as it is without having water in the tank.
Now that little angel is pushing me every day to get the tank up and running so I am trying to catch up and remember what I had in mind back then
So, how can I get this document that you shared the page from? I don't know if Jeff emailed me it or not but would appreciate if you can send a link or a copy of it.

I do not know if he has it on his portal but if you go there his email is at the top. Just send him a email real quick and say you are looking for the instructions. He will shoot you a PDF or a link.
