Thats awesome! I read through a good majoirty of the blog and I'm very impressed, sounds like you've had your hands full and doing a great job! Keep up the good work and the pictures coming.

out of curiosity, why didn't you breed it with a gold stripe maroon? then you might have ended up with "white lightenings" and "gold lightenings" but very cool... and maybe a decade from now i'll be able to afford to put one of the decendents from this fish in my tank. i'm very excited since for me to this has been at the back of my mind since the first time i saw that fish about 2 years ago.

He wanted to pair it with another from the same region, in hopes that it too, may have the gene for the lightning somewhere in it's makeup.
