I have a bunch of apex gear so I will set up 3 part dosing from the beginning. Just very low amounts. Also will dose kalk and have a trident for ramping up and down.
If you’re going to be dosing Kalk, I’d recommend AFR to start and then supplement at night with Kalk. 2 part with Kalk can precipitate.

Huge update. Big shout out to @Yazannreef for coming through and fixing my leaking bulkhead! He had the upgraded plumbing and it was fixed within 20 minutes. For anyone that has had an experience with a leaky pipe know what a relief it is. Thanks Yaz!

Now I can move on to wire management and getting the tank ready for the transfer.

Spent about 5 hrs doing cord management with not much to show. The left side I didn’t get any pics yet.

Installed my 3rd mp60. The 4th got sent back and waiting for a replacement.

Ran all my lighting on the other side.

Very very cool - huge progress so far!
Getting the leak fixed was huge so I could finish installing wires. I still have all my apex stuff to run but did get my new eb8 installed and ready.

I’ve decided to push one more week on the transfer of my cube. I may put a few of the corals in the tank today.

No pics today but I did transfer about half my corals over to the tank. Will get some pics later in the week.

Some unfortunate news. The leak is back! It’s nothing like it was but it is a very slow drip. Not sure what to do at this point. I have some travel so I’m going to leave it for now

Tomorrow is the big day to transfer over the cube to the new tank.

I haven’t fixed the leak yet but will give it shot tomorrow.

I received my fourth mp60 and mounted it on the far end. We will see if it stays there but know eventually it will need to live there when the reef grows out.

If all goes well with the transfer I might run to the lfs for some new fish.

Big update! Tank is transferred. Most of the rock is in the sump. Corals are glued.

Still need to hook up all the apex gear which will be done tomorrow.

I ended up going to the local fish store and ended up getting 14 fish and an Aussie torch.

Fish list
  1. Gem tang
  2. Biota yellow tang
  3. Purple tang
  4. Desjardini Sailfin tang
  5. 7 Lyretail anthias 1 male
  6. Tailspot blenny
  7. Sixline wrasse
  8. Copperband butterfly

4 zebrasomas that’s a gamble! Gem and purples are favorites of mine as well. Like the rock scape, that liverock is nice stuff. Wishing everything settles in well. Enjoying watching the build
