My fluval 13.5 tank has two vents for chamber 1- will the media baskets you can buy still work in the same way?

Hi, I recently got a good deal on a second hand Fluval sea evo 13.5 gallon, and I'm wanting to get a media basket like the Intank ones, but all the ones I can find seem designed for the tanks with one vent, at the top of the tank. Mine also has a slightly smaller vent at the bottom of chamber one, which I'm worried will defeat the point of the basket, as water would just flow through the bottom vent and up into chamber two without travelling through my media? Has anyone got any experience with the sea evo's with two chamber one vents, and what should I do filtration wise? Is there a easy way to block the lower vent? To fully clarify, water enters chamber one through two vents, top and bottom of chamber one, but still enters chamber two at the normal space in the middle. Grateful for any advice I can get.

Do you have a picture of the tank back end so I could get a better understanding of what you mean? I do have a 13.5 fluval evo I started with when I first got into the hobby and do have a bunch of upgrades on it including in tank media filteration basket. Maybe with an image I might be able to help you with a solution for you tank :)

If you buy on Amazon you get a plug for that hole and a flow diverter. Not sure if this is included if bought elsewhere

Ahh yup that's probably what they meant I was trying to picture what was missing. But forsure water will flow back without that.

I got those plugs with each of my intank chambers and neither of them fit in that dang hole. Both were way too small. I had heard there’s some glue that can be used underwater? Is that a thing?

The point of it is that if the main entrance is inaccessible, the water will still get to the pump. I wouldn't cover it up.
